Summer Internship 2024

Inspiring the next generation to give their time and talents, Teens United activities are designed to engage teens, in volunteerism and education to see firsthand the opportunities to make a difference in our local community.

It is also a great way for students to complete service hour requirements.

About the Internship

Students will complete a 32-hour internship in the summer of 2024. Throughout the internship experience, students can expect to:

· Develop an understanding of the different positions within nonprofit organizations

· Share experiences and learn from one another while developing their personal communication skills

· Widen their understanding of the needs of the clients served by United Way partner agencies

· Receive invaluable, hands-on training and experiences that help to grow their workplace skills
